Getting Ready for

High School Exams

Time flies. As Jenny, a Grade 12 student, said, it feels like it was not that long ago that she and her classmates joined the Diploma Programme. That was in August 2021, and in a couple of months, they will besitting their final DP exams.

光陰荏苒,日月如梭。在2021年8月加入國際文憑大學預科課程（IBDP）的12年級學生Jenny轉(zhuǎn)眼發(fā)現(xiàn)再過幾個月，她和她的同學們就要參加最后的IBDP考試了。

In preparation for the final exams, Grade 12 students attended a number of study skillssessionson February 16th and February 17th. The sessions were led by Dr. Brice Bomo, our Secondary School Principal & DP Coordinator.

為參加最后考試做好充分準備，12年級的學生在2月16日和17日參加了幾場關(guān)于“學習技巧”的課程。這些課程均由我們的中學部校長兼DP協(xié)調(diào)員Brice Bomo博士教授。

The focus was on strategies to designeffective revision plans. Besides also reflecting on their DP journey since the start of Grade 11, students discussed academic integrity and the expected behaviourbefore, during, and after each examination.

這些課程的重點是為學生定制策略性的復習計劃。除了反思他們從11年級就開始的DP學習經(jīng)歷外，學生們還探討了有關(guān)學術(shù)誠信，以及對自己每次考試前、考試中和考試后行為預期的話題。

The students left the sessions admitting toa certain level of nerves because the exams are now so close, as some of them said. However, they also felt energised, motivated, and optimistic.

在結(jié)束“學習技巧”課程時，學生們都表現(xiàn)出了一定的焦慮，因為距離最后的考試已經(jīng)很近了。不過，學生們雖緊張但不畏懼，依然保持著積極樂觀的態(tài)度，迎接這最后的挑戰(zhàn)。

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) is an assessed programme for students aged 16 to 19. It is respected by leading universities across the globe. DP assessment procedures measure the extent to which students have mastered advanced academic skills. It also encourages an international outlook and intercultural skills, wherever appropriate.
