天天最新：家校共偕手，讓暖暖情意行萬(wàn)里 | PTA Charity Christmas Fair Donation

“服務(wù)”為博觀核心價(jià)值觀之一。我們致力于服務(wù)社會(huì)，關(guān)心學(xué)校社區(qū)內(nèi)外的人與事，對(duì)需要幫助的人主動(dòng)伸出援助之手。從創(chuàng)校至今，社會(huì)責(zé)任一直為博觀社區(qū)所重視，并以實(shí)際行動(dòng)踐行。

上學(xué)期末，在家委會(huì)牽頭，董事會(huì)和校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)支持，全體師生、家長(zhǎng)和職工的參與下，慈善圣誕園游會(huì)成功舉辦。當(dāng)天活動(dòng)紛呈，籌集了近16000元的善款。

經(jīng)過(guò)PTA與校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的商議，今年將撥當(dāng)中￥15000的善款，捐贈(zèng)于觀瀾中心學(xué)校的7個(gè)困難學(xué)生和家庭。受助學(xué)生當(dāng)中，部分有身體殘疾，有的學(xué)生家庭有危重病人，也有學(xué)生來(lái)自低保家庭。我們希望能為身邊的群體，略盡綿力，在困難的時(shí)期給予關(guān)愛和幫助。

在3月24日下午，在熊書記的帶領(lǐng)下，博觀團(tuán)隊(duì)包括助理校長(zhǎng)蔡卓敏、家委會(huì)成員代表田姝女士、師紅女士和張婷女士、行政中心副主任魏彩萍，聯(lián)同學(xué)生代表廖紫晴、安朗赫、徐嘉慧和廖祺瑞到達(dá)觀瀾中心學(xué)校參與捐贈(zèng)儀式。

熊書記、蔡校長(zhǎng)、田女士和肖書記分別發(fā)言，大家肯定了兩校幫扶互助的積極意義。隨后，觀瀾中心學(xué)校同學(xué)和家長(zhǎng)代表發(fā)言表達(dá)謝意，令人動(dòng)容。

在隨后的捐贈(zèng)儀式，博觀的代表分別送上禮物和現(xiàn)金給觀瀾中心學(xué)校的受助學(xué)生和家長(zhǎng)，同時(shí)，受助學(xué)生向我們送上手寫的感謝卡和鮮花。賀卡上的字體端正，大家都贊嘆不已。

捐贈(zèng)儀式完畢，博觀代表和受助學(xué)生和家長(zhǎng)進(jìn)行互動(dòng)，孩子們盡管面對(duì)各種困難，仍能保持積極向上的態(tài)度，這對(duì)博觀的孩子來(lái)說(shuō)，也是莫大的啟發(fā)。

這次的捐贈(zèng)行動(dòng)，貫徹了博觀重視社會(huì)責(zé)任的傳統(tǒng)。我們也特別感謝家長(zhǎng)們對(duì)學(xué)校無(wú)條件的支持，各位的愛心讓BMH社區(qū)熠熠生輝。在未來(lái)的日子里，我們希望可以和每位社區(qū)成員們一起繼續(xù)發(fā)揚(yáng)助人為樂(lè)的精神，以行動(dòng)回應(yīng)社會(huì)上有需要的群體。

非常榮幸代表PTA將2022年圣誕慈善園游會(huì)的善款親自送給觀瀾中心學(xué)校需要幫助的同學(xué)們，并向他們轉(zhuǎn)達(dá)了來(lái)自博觀社區(qū)大家庭每位成員的愛心和鼓勵(lì)，聽到孩子們稚嫩而真誠(chéng)的發(fā)言，幾度哽咽，希望善款可以切實(shí)的幫到他們，給他們前行的路上增加些許勇氣和希望。照亮別人，溫暖自己，我想，這也正是慈善的意義吧……

Service is one of BMH’s core values. We are committed to servingsociety, caring about people and things inside and outside the school community, and extending a helping hand to those in need. Since the founding of the school, social responsibility has always been valued by the BMH community, and has been carried out with practical actions.

The end of last term witnessed a successful Christmas Fair, which was led by PTA, supported by the Board and school leaders, and participated in by all staff, students and parents. There were many interesting activities on that day, and nearly RMB 16,000 was raised.

After discussion between the PTA and school leaders, it was agreed RMB 15,000 wouldbe donated this year to 7 needy students and families in Guanlan Central School. Among these students, some have physical disabilities, some students" families have critically ill members, and some students come from low-income families. We hope to do our best for the people around us, and give them care and help in difficult times.

On the afternoon of March 24, under the leadership of First Secretary Ms Xiong, BMH team including Assistant Head Diana Choy, PTA representative Ms Ivy Tian, Ms Selena Shi and Ms Zhang Ting, Assistant Coordinator of admin center Ms Abby Wei, and student representatives Sunny Liao, Frankie An, Stella Xu and Jerry Liao arrived at Guanlan Central School and participated in the donation ceremony.

First Secretary Ms Xiong, Assistant Head Diana, Ms Tian and Secretary Xiao delivered speechesand everyone affirmed the significance of mutual assistance between the two schools. Afterwards, the students and parent representatives of Guanlan Central School expressed their gratitude, which was touching.

In the ensuing donation ceremony, BMH representatives gave gifts and cash to the aided students and parents from Guanlan Central School. At the same time, the aided students gave us handwritten thank you cards and flowers. Everyone admired the beautiful handwriting on the cards. After the donation ceremony, BMH representatives interacted with the aided students and their parents. Despite all kinds of difficulties, these children still maintain a positive attitude, which is also a great inspiration to BMH students.

This donation has carried out BMH’s tradition of emphasizing social responsibility. In the future, the BMH community will continue to carry forward the spirit of helping others and responding to those in need in society with actions.

The students in Guanlan Central School are very lively and optimistic. Helping others makes me feel happy and joyful. Seeing that children with worse conditions are so positive, makes me realise we should work hard as we enjoy better conditions.

It is a great honour for me to represent the PTA to donate personally the monies raised from the 2022 Christmas Fair to the needy students of Guanlan Central School, and convey to them the love and encouragement from every member of the BMH community. Hearing the childish and sincere speeches of the children, I choked up several times. I hope that the donation can actually help them and add some courage and hope to them on the way forward. I think the meaning of charity is to illuminate others and warm ourselves...
