Holly在與內(nèi)在欲望斗爭(zhēng)的路上,
選擇了有愛(ài)的家人,與圣誕節(jié)和解。
Holly has chosen to reconcile with Christmas by having a loving family.
“圣誕節(jié)簡(jiǎn)直無(wú)聊透頂!”Holly摔掉了自己的禮物。人人期盼的快樂(lè)節(jié)日里有這么一位姑娘討厭著圣誕節(jié),因?yàn)樗脑竿麖奈磳?shí)現(xiàn)。她不想要那些可愛(ài)精致的禮物,一心想要尋獲親生父親的蹤跡。她守候在深夜,想親自抓住圣誕老人,而這次等來(lái)的卻是圣誕老人的兒子Bumblehole……他在Holly的威逼利誘下透露圣誕老人的胡須擁有神奇魔法,并在無(wú)意中復(fù)活了Holly的泰迪熊。泰迪嘴上說(shuō)著圣誕快樂(lè)心里卻想著永生,展開(kāi)了邪惡計(jì)劃。一切,朝著不可預(yù)測(cè)的方向發(fā)展,一場(chǎng)徹頭徹尾的圣誕惡作劇,開(kāi)始了。
"Christmas is boring as hell!" Holly dropped her present. She hated Christmas because her wishes never come true. Everything is in an unpredictable direction.
萊克頓年度大戲在前幾年更注重于經(jīng)典劇目和異想天開(kāi)的精美舞臺(tái)制作,今年則轉(zhuǎn)向更具挑戰(zhàn)性的“面對(duì)面”喜劇演出與劇中劇形式,并融入了布偶戲。臺(tái)上泰迪熊的表演需要布偶師操控完成,Holly的泰迪熊是一只來(lái)自俄羅斯,兩英尺高的布偶熊,他有點(diǎn)小叛逆,有點(diǎn)小邪惡,被Bumblehole意外復(fù)活后便慫恿著Holly偷取圣誕老人的胡須。在劇中,它需要像正常人一樣工作,和Holly聊天、冒險(xiǎn)。導(dǎo)演大膽地把布偶的操縱者Elaine同學(xué)請(qǐng)到臺(tái)前作為角色之一扮演泰迪,沿著泰迪的計(jì)劃繼續(xù)展開(kāi)劇情。
Lucton annual drama show shifted to a more challenging "face-to-face" comedy show incorporating puppetry. Holly"s teddy bear was from Russia who was a little evil. The director boldly invited Elaine, the Muppet"s manipulator, to the stage as one of the characters to play Teddy, and the plot continues to unfold along Teddy"s plan.
泰迪的熊生里每天都有著Holly的陪伴,他是Holly的父親留給她唯一的禮物。意外復(fù)活后的泰迪欺騙Holly自己就是她的親生父親,只是經(jīng)歷種種靈魂被困在了泰迪熊體內(nèi)。小Holly渴求父愛(ài)親信了他的話,希望他能活下去一直陪伴她。可圣誕老人的魔法胡須只有在圣誕節(jié)當(dāng)天有效,怎么才能讓泰迪每天活下去呢?機(jī)智的Holly表示每天都過(guò)圣誕節(jié)不就好了。

時(shí)光,音樂(lè),人物流轉(zhuǎn),圣誕節(jié)重復(fù)了一天又一天,持續(xù)了一個(gè)月的圣誕讓電視上無(wú)新聞可播。此處導(dǎo)演安排了劇中劇的情節(jié),當(dāng)Holly家打開(kāi)電視,旁邊的電視展板內(nèi)出現(xiàn)了現(xiàn)場(chǎng)播報(bào)員和場(chǎng)外連線人員,側(cè)面展示每天都是圣誕節(jié)的世界并不美好,大家已經(jīng)筋疲力盡,過(guò)去積攢一年的祝福和期待都在消失殆盡,甚至開(kāi)始混亂。
Teddy deceived Holly that he was her real father, but his soul was trapped inside the bear. Little Holly was thirsty for her father"s love and believed his words. Santa"s magic beard was only valid on Christmas Day, how can Teddy live every day? Holly said that it would be good to have Christmas every day. Here the director arranged the plot of a play. When Holly"s family turned on the TV show that every day was Christmas. Everyone was exhausted, and even began to chaos.
Holly意識(shí)到事情的嚴(yán)重性,也看到了家里人因?yàn)樽约旱臎Q定開(kāi)始爭(zhēng)吵和指責(zé),而這一切都是因?yàn)樽约旱淖运綄?dǎo)致。泰迪開(kāi)始害怕,媽媽揭穿了泰迪的謊言,親生父親也在召喚下出現(xiàn)。Holly的父親竟然是一只貓?!貓咪Tomas解除了Holly被拋棄的誤會(huì)并告訴她,無(wú)論父親是什么樣的形式出現(xiàn),你要用心感受愛(ài),誰(shuí)是愛(ài)你的,你要如何愛(ài)他們,什么樣的選擇能讓愛(ài)的人幸福。最后Holly毅然選擇了恢復(fù)世界的秩序。一場(chǎng)荒誕、童真、搞笑、唱跳的一場(chǎng)沉浸式歡樂(lè)大戲結(jié)束,大家載歌載舞,明白有愛(ài)的人就是親人,和親人在一起就是最美好的圣誕。
Holly realized the seriousness of the situation which was all caused by her selfishness. Holly"s father turned out to be a cat called Tomas?! Tomas told her that you have to feel love with your heart, who loves you, how you are going to love them, and what kind of choice will make the loved ones happy. In the end Holly resolutely chose to restore the world to order.
童真爛漫的《Get Santa》戲劇演出,其核心依舊是用戲劇去尋覓愛(ài)之所在。戲劇能帶給大家的另一項(xiàng)體驗(yàn)便是同理心,比如從故事背景代入主角Holly,“設(shè)身處地”站在Holly的立場(chǎng)看待事物,再?gòu)钠渌浣桥c情節(jié)的推動(dòng)下和Holly一起經(jīng)歷心境的變化和成長(zhǎng)。人的關(guān)系,如父母對(duì)子女,老師對(duì)學(xué)生,總是希望彼此了解,了解彼此的欲望、需求、相似和不同。每個(gè)人都有著自己的心情故事,戲劇提供了一種沉浸式體驗(yàn)方式,讓學(xué)生得以參演Holly的人生,透過(guò)她的眼睛看世界。當(dāng)一個(gè)人具備了同理心或同情心,就能夠理解他人的處境,能夠和這個(gè)世界和解,就像最后Holly與圣誕節(jié)和解。
The core of the play "Get Santa" was the search for love through theatre. Human always want to understand each other, understand each other"s desires, needs, similarities and differences.
本次萊克頓全自制戲劇對(duì)戲劇人物性格,主角之間的人物關(guān)系,人物之間的緊張局勢(shì)的表現(xiàn)等等有著更高的要求,大家整整籌劃排練了六個(gè)月之久。相比較經(jīng)典劇目,此劇目的情節(jié)對(duì)話演出形式多了很大的發(fā)展空間。導(dǎo)演與聯(lián)合導(dǎo)演帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生進(jìn)行文本分析、劇本創(chuàng)作、和戲劇幕后制作統(tǒng)籌,將自身對(duì)戲劇的熱愛(ài)傳遞給大家。演員們不僅要背下大段的臺(tái)詞,更要體會(huì)角色的情感,配以表情、動(dòng)作,相互配合,才能達(dá)到完美的效果,小到一句臺(tái)詞的語(yǔ)氣,大到整個(gè)舞臺(tái)的布置,給了演員們改動(dòng)和創(chuàng)新的機(jī)會(huì),這些創(chuàng)作空間在無(wú)形中鍛煉了學(xué)生的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力。讓學(xué)生們了解自己的擅長(zhǎng)點(diǎn)的同時(shí),集思廣益創(chuàng)造出一個(gè)純真的Holly的世界。
It took six months of planning and rehearsal. Compared to the classic play, this play has a lot more room for development in the form of dialogue. The director and co-director led the students through text analysis, script writing, and passed on their love of theater to the audience. It allowed the students to understand what they are good at while brainstorming to create a world of Holly.
《Get Santa》由戲劇老師Mr. Warburton和十三年級(jí)學(xué)生Elaine H和Nicolas L同學(xué)聯(lián)合導(dǎo)演,并作為A Level戲劇科目的一部分來(lái)進(jìn)行評(píng)估。他讓演員們認(rèn)識(shí)到戲劇是從劇本閱讀理解,作品賞析,演繹,唱歌,跳舞,音樂(lè)、設(shè)計(jì)部分如服裝,舞臺(tái),燈光,道具等等臺(tái)前幕后作為一體的藝術(shù)作品。
值得一提的是,演出背后還有一支由音樂(lè)老師組建的萊克頓學(xué)生樂(lè)隊(duì),承包了本次演出的原創(chuàng)譜曲、配音和背景音樂(lè)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)演奏。任何戲劇作品,總是離不開(kāi)其創(chuàng)作背后的特定氛圍和場(chǎng)景的轉(zhuǎn)換,若是配置與其相適應(yīng)的音樂(lè),則有助于加強(qiáng)人物情感的渲染。在此劇中,整場(chǎng)戲劇的配樂(lè)部分,利用了鋼琴、大提琴、貝斯、長(zhǎng)笛與鼓交織一場(chǎng)時(shí)間轉(zhuǎn)換后情緒高低的人物表演大戲。如開(kāi)場(chǎng)結(jié)尾的慶祝圣誕唱跳部分、圣誕老人來(lái)臨的期待時(shí)刻、時(shí)光倒流的前后對(duì)比等等,推動(dòng)了劇情發(fā)展,促使事件形成,強(qiáng)調(diào)演出節(jié)奏讓演員和觀眾沉浸其中。
Get Santa was co-directed by Mr. Warburton and Y13 student Elaine H and Nicolas L. It is worth mentioning that behind the performance there was a Lucton band formed by music teacher, which contracted the original score, dubbing and background music live performance for this performance. In this play, the entire scoring part of the play utilizes piano, cello, bass, flute and drums to interweave a big drama of characters" performance with high and low emotions.
現(xiàn)場(chǎng)感、互動(dòng)感、音樂(lè)特效、舞臺(tái)特效、即時(shí)性等特點(diǎn)是戲劇的最大特色。萊克頓學(xué)生們出色的英語(yǔ)表達(dá)力,扎實(shí)的表演功力和肢體表現(xiàn),師生之間配合默契,是整個(gè)演出的關(guān)鍵。本次戲劇演出中,收到了超預(yù)期的效果,觀眾直言精彩,表演結(jié)束臺(tái)下掌聲連連。這離不開(kāi)前期主創(chuàng)人員、演員及后期人員的辛苦付出,為了能夠讓演出達(dá)到預(yù)期的完美效果,演員們加班加點(diǎn)做道具,抽空練習(xí)形體、背誦臺(tái)詞。正是他們的不懈努力,不斷追求完美,才使本次戲劇表演活動(dòng)得以圓滿完成。
The sense of scene, interaction, music effects, stage effects, and immediacy were the most important features of the play. It was their unremitting efforts and constant pursuit of perfection that made this drama performance successfully completed.
《Get Santa》演繹了一個(gè)關(guān)于成長(zhǎng)的故事,學(xué)校也為學(xué)生們創(chuàng)造獨(dú)立展現(xiàn)自我、發(fā)揮特長(zhǎng)的成長(zhǎng)平臺(tái)。萊克頓學(xué)校從創(chuàng)辦之初起,就開(kāi)設(shè)了包括體育、音樂(lè)和戲劇等多種課程。其中,戲劇作為萊克頓“全人教育”的一個(gè)重要部分,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生參與戲劇表演,不僅提高了他們的表達(dá)能力,還培養(yǎng)了他們自信心,溝通,社交,自律和領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的能力。表演藝術(shù)還有助于學(xué)生洞察他國(guó)文化和探索他人生活的世界,并勇于表達(dá)自己。希望他們發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的興趣與潛能,完善人格,走向卓越,在戲劇中可以好好享受,盡情釋放,在未來(lái)創(chuàng)造一切可能。

《Get Santa》 is a story of growth, and the school creates a platform for students to express themselves and their strengths independently. Students are encouraged to participate in theatrical performances that not only enhance their expression, but also develop their self-confidence, communication, social skills, self-discipline and leadership. We hoped that they will discover their interests and potential, refine their personalities and move towards excellence, and that they can enjoy and release themselves in theatre to create all possibilities in the future.
