這是廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校（ASJ）小學(xué)部UOI主題課程中，G1和G2低年級(jí)學(xué)生的課堂現(xiàn)場(chǎng)。

孩子天生就是探究者和發(fā)現(xiàn)者。孩子高效的學(xué)習(xí)需要的是真實(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)情境和有效的引導(dǎo)。G2的同學(xué)們正在探究的主題是《光與聲》，這是一個(gè)探究自然現(xiàn)象和自然規(guī)律，以及人類如何利用自然規(guī)律進(jìn)行發(fā)明創(chuàng)造的單元。
光與聲，在我們的生活中無(wú)處不在，開(kāi)題活動(dòng)中，我們讓孩子們?cè)谏钪袑ふ夜獠⒂涗浵聛?lái)。通過(guò)尋找生活中的光，孩子們發(fā)現(xiàn)并不是所有的發(fā)光體都是光源，能夠自己發(fā)光的物體才是光源，不能夠自己發(fā)光卻很光亮的物體是反光體。而同樣是光源的兩個(gè)物體，他們之間也可能存在差異。
UOI課程
UOI作為一門整合性的課程，它打破學(xué)科界限，融合不同學(xué)科的知識(shí)，為孩子們創(chuàng)設(shè)真實(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)情境，讓學(xué)習(xí)真實(shí)地發(fā)生。UOI課程十分重視學(xué)生的體驗(yàn)、實(shí)踐、思考和展示。引導(dǎo)學(xué)會(huì)從多種角度探究事物的真相，從生活常識(shí)出發(fā)，結(jié)合生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生將所學(xué)知識(shí)所得理論用于生活，做到學(xué)習(xí)與生活的完美結(jié)合。
IBPYP探究課非常注重沉浸式英文教學(xué)，老師的授課語(yǔ)言以英語(yǔ)為主，必要時(shí)也以普通話和粵語(yǔ)作為輔助語(yǔ)言，學(xué)生能夠從容自信并且又靈活地運(yùn)用多種語(yǔ)言來(lái)表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)。我們致力于培養(yǎng)孩子們的溝通技能，思考技能，研究技能，自我管理技能和社交技能，把孩子培養(yǎng)成為具有國(guó)際視野和國(guó)際情懷的終身學(xué)習(xí)者。
在課堂上，“好奇”是孩子學(xué)習(xí)的關(guān)鍵詞。關(guān)于“光與聲“，孩子們提出了很多有價(jià)值的探究問(wèn)題。比如：如何證明光是沿直線傳播的呢？光的顏色有哪些呢？什么是光的折射現(xiàn)象呢？聲音是怎么產(chǎn)生的呢？我們的耳朵是如何聽(tīng)到聲音的呢？等等。
為了幫助孩子們解開(kāi)一個(gè)個(gè)謎團(tuán)，老師引導(dǎo)孩子們做起了一個(gè)個(gè)有趣的小實(shí)驗(yàn)。同學(xué)們通過(guò)獨(dú)立思考、小組合作，不斷地嘗試做實(shí)驗(yàn)，實(shí)驗(yàn)失敗帶給孩子們的是堅(jiān)強(qiáng)的毅力和韌性，實(shí)驗(yàn)成功帶給孩子們的是成功的喜悅和自信。未來(lái)世界，跨界發(fā)展的趨勢(shì)很明顯，所以，對(duì)團(tuán)隊(duì)合作能力的要求很高。
ASJ的孩子們不僅在課堂上感受著團(tuán)隊(duì)合作活動(dòng)帶來(lái)的高效學(xué)習(xí)和快樂(lè)，生活中，我們也給孩子們足夠的時(shí)間、空間和機(jī)會(huì)去發(fā)展自己的興趣愛(ài)好。孩子們根據(jù)自己的興趣愛(ài)好，加入到各種社團(tuán)活動(dòng)以及同學(xué)們自發(fā)組織的體育、藝術(shù)、科技、閱讀等團(tuán)體活動(dòng)中，充分發(fā)揮他們的社交能力和協(xié)作能力。學(xué)習(xí)從來(lái)不是“要我學(xué)”，而是“我要學(xué)”。
ASJ為每個(gè)孩子提供個(gè)性化教學(xué)。我們相信，每個(gè)孩子皆可成才。孩子們?cè)谧非髮W(xué)業(yè)成功之時(shí)，他們也要能夠做到誠(chéng)實(shí)、正直、有正義感、公平。懂得身心健康的重要性，成為胸襟開(kāi)闊的人。追求真理，心懷世界。
This is the classroom scene of G1 and G2 lower grade students in the UOI theme course of ASJ.
Children are born inquirers and discoverers. Children"s effective learning requires real learning situations and effective guidance. The theme that the students of G2 are exploring is "Light and Sound", which is a unit that explores natural phenomena and natural laws, and how human beings use natural laws to invent and create.
Light and sound are everywhere in our lives, and in the opening activity, we let children find light in their lives and record it. By looking for light in life, children find that not all luminous bodies are light sources, objects that can emit light by themselves are light sources, and objects that cannot emit light by themselves but are very bright are reflectors. And two objects that are also light sources, there may also be differences between them.
UOI課程
As an integrated curriculum, UOI breaks the boundaries of disciplines, integrates knowledge from different subjects, creates real learning situations for children, and makes learning happen. IBPYP Inquiry focuses on English immersion, with teachers teaching in English, Mandarin and Cantonese as auxiliary languages when necessary, allowing students to express their opinions in multiple languages with confidence and flexibility.
In the classroom, "curiosity" is the key word for children to learn. The children asked many valuable questions about "Light and Sound". For example, how do you prove that light travels in a straight line? What are the colors of light? What is the phenomenon of light refraction? How does sound come about? How do our ears hear sounds?
In order to help the children solve the mysteries, the teacher guided the children to do interesting little experiments. Through independent thinking and group cooperation, students continue to try to do experiments, experimental failure brings children strong perseverance and resilience, experimental success brings children the joy and confidence of success. In the future world, the trend of cross-border development is obvious, so the requirements for teamwork ability are high.
Children not only experience the effective learning and joy brought by teamwork activities in the classroom, but we also give children enough time, space and opportunities to develop their interests in life. According to their own interests and hobbies, children join various club activities and group activities such as sports, art, science and technology, reading and other group activities organized by classmates to give full play to their social skills and cooperation skills. Learning is never "I want to learn", but "I want to learn".
ASJ provides personalized instruction for each child. We believe that every child can be successful. Children must also be able to be honest, upright, righteous, and fair in their pursuit of academic success. Understand the importance of physical and mental health and become an open-minded person. Pursue the truth and have the world in mind.

1. 香港、澳門籍適齡學(xué)生：持有香港或澳門永久性（非永久性）居民身份證、《港澳居民來(lái)往內(nèi)地通行證》或《港澳居民居住證》；
2. 臺(tái)灣籍適齡學(xué)生：持有在臺(tái)灣居住的有效身份證明、《臺(tái)灣居民來(lái)往大陸通行證》或《臺(tái)灣居民居住證》。

Prospective Students：
1.School-age students from Hong Kong and Macao: required Hong Kong or Macao permanent (non-permanent) identity card, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, or Residence Permits for Hong Kong and Macao Residents.
