      3月14日是圓周率紀(jì)念日,也稱為π Day,因?yàn)閳A周率的近似值π≈3.14。

      3月6-14日,廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校(ASJ)小學(xué)部第一屆數(shù)學(xué)節(jié)π Day圓滿舉行。這場(chǎng)盛宴通過(guò)讓學(xué)子們了解π的數(shù)學(xué)史,立足學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng),激發(fā)孩子的興趣和自我驅(qū)動(dòng)力,培養(yǎng)學(xué)子的終身學(xué)習(xí)力,成為善于探究的學(xué)習(xí)者。

      ASJ PYP日常的數(shù)學(xué)節(jié)著重培養(yǎng)學(xué)子們?cè)跀?shù)學(xué)學(xué)科中的八大能力:空間想象能力、推理能力、數(shù)學(xué)交流能力、“數(shù)感”、信息處理能力、批判思維能力、融合創(chuàng)新能力與綜合分析能力。

      數(shù)學(xué)大富翁比賽

      數(shù)的世界永無(wú)休止,

      小小黑板,承載對(duì)數(shù)學(xué)之美的追求。

      G1初賽著重培養(yǎng)孩子的推理能力以及信息處理能力。通過(guò)輕松快樂(lè)的數(shù)學(xué)大富翁比賽,寓教于樂(lè),寓學(xué)于趣,寓教于心,為未來(lái)的繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)奠定深厚的基礎(chǔ)。

      決賽舉辦了緊張刺激的搶答比賽,這一環(huán)節(jié)不僅考驗(yàn)學(xué)生對(duì)知識(shí)點(diǎn)的掌握程度,同時(shí)也考驗(yàn)學(xué)生的反應(yīng)力,能否優(yōu)先搶答回的題目,最后決出三強(qiáng)。

      過(guò)三關(guān)斬六將

      公式推導(dǎo),黑白交錯(cuò)。

      是教導(dǎo),更是教學(xué)相長(zhǎng)的交流。

      G2著重培養(yǎng)孩子們的“數(shù)感”,在收獲快樂(lè)的同時(shí)也提高了數(shù)學(xué)核心素養(yǎng),鞏固了數(shù)學(xué)知識(shí)。

      第一關(guān)就是記憶圓周率,在認(rèn)識(shí)了π這個(gè)無(wú)限不循環(huán)小數(shù)后,我們鼓勵(lì)孩子用不同方式記憶圓周率的數(shù)值,提高對(duì)數(shù)字的敏感度。這對(duì)于孩子們來(lái)說(shuō)無(wú)疑是個(gè)考驗(yàn)記憶力的大難關(guān),但很多孩子都富有挑戰(zhàn)精神,一遍又一遍地嘗試,最終有孩子挑戰(zhàn)成功,背出了小數(shù)點(diǎn)后前50位數(shù)字!

      在第二關(guān)游戲“一米疊疊樂(lè)”中,孩子們需要搭建立體圖形并使其高度接近一米。比賽中,孩子們不僅要搭得穩(wěn),還要搭得“準(zhǔn)”,大家在穩(wěn)定立體圖形之余,還要判斷搭建的高度是否已經(jīng)達(dá)到一米了。這小小的比賽需要孩子們熟悉各立體圖形的特點(diǎn)和對(duì)米的概念,培養(yǎng)了量感和空間感,同時(shí)也考驗(yàn)了大家的耐心和堅(jiān)持。

      最后結(jié)合加減混合運(yùn)算這一章節(jié)的學(xué)習(xí),我們開(kāi)展了第三關(guān)比賽活動(dòng)“Making 314”。通過(guò)觀察數(shù)的特點(diǎn)和估算,孩子們很快就能運(yùn)用加減混合、連加或連減計(jì)算出314,提高了計(jì)算能力和數(shù)感。

      數(shù)學(xué)的美妙與奧秘,

      在生活中隨處可見(jiàn)隨時(shí)可解。

      G3著重培養(yǎng)孩子們空間想象能力和數(shù)學(xué)交流能力,G3孩子體驗(yàn)了疊卡牌游戲,通過(guò)折疊、堆高等形式考驗(yàn)學(xué)生對(duì)基本模型的認(rèn)識(shí)。活動(dòng)還沒(méi)開(kāi)始,G3的孩子們就摩拳擦掌,早早準(zhǔn)備好卡牌練習(xí)。

      比賽時(shí)孩子們都很認(rèn)真,有的孩子雖然卡牌一次次倒下,還是會(huì)不斷重復(fù),堅(jiān)持到最后一刻,這樣的毅力值得鼓勵(lì)和表?yè)P(yáng)。一場(chǎng)看似簡(jiǎn)單的游戲,也考驗(yàn)了孩子們的耐心、毅力和堅(jiān)持,培養(yǎng)孩子們成為善于交流者。

      數(shù)學(xué)單詞拼寫比賽

      圓形,有且僅有一個(gè)圓心。

      每位ASJ孩子,都是獨(dú)特的個(gè)體。

      G4著重培養(yǎng)孩子們的信息處理能力。G4的孩子們帶著緊張的心情迎來(lái)了數(shù)學(xué)單詞拼寫比賽。為了這場(chǎng)比賽,孩子們提前就開(kāi)始背數(shù)學(xué)單詞。

      進(jìn)入復(fù)賽的孩子更是把“速度與激情”體現(xiàn)的淋漓盡致。這場(chǎng)單詞的較量考驗(yàn)的不僅是對(duì)數(shù)學(xué)單詞的記憶,同時(shí)也考驗(yàn)著大家的反應(yīng)、靈活的大腦和敏捷的身體、以及穩(wěn)定的心理素質(zhì)。

      孩子們都表現(xiàn)得很棒,相信這次認(rèn)真?zhèn)滟悈①惖暮⒆訉?duì)單詞的熟悉度又更近了一步,為今后學(xué)習(xí)英文數(shù)學(xué)奠定了基礎(chǔ)。

      G5著重培養(yǎng)孩子們的批判思維能力、融合創(chuàng)新能力,G5的孩子經(jīng)歷了一場(chǎng)“一站到底”的比賽。從一起認(rèn)識(shí)π的由來(lái),到隨機(jī)分組、組別淘汰賽,最后迎來(lái)冠亞軍組對(duì)決。孩子們?cè)诒荣愡^(guò)程中也學(xué)會(huì)了如何通過(guò)團(tuán)隊(duì)的力量。解決問(wèn)題,深化理解。在日常學(xué)習(xí)生活中能夠及時(shí)反思,穩(wěn)步向前。

      一邊了解π的由來(lái),一邊認(rèn)真記筆記。開(kāi)始分組了,每個(gè)人抽一張刮刮卡,刮開(kāi)就能看到自己是哪一組了。誰(shuí)才是那個(gè)對(duì)的眼神呢?

      在組別淘汰賽環(huán)節(jié)和巔峰四強(qiáng)環(huán)節(jié),孩子們一張張認(rèn)真答題的臉讓老師們印象深刻。隊(duì)友團(tuán)結(jié)合作,攻克一個(gè)個(gè)不同的數(shù)學(xué)問(wèn)題,團(tuán)隊(duì)精神展現(xiàn)得淋漓盡致。

      把π Day變成π Week

      我們習(xí)慣不懈怠,一直努力。

      每位孩子都是獨(dú)立的圓,

      走的每一步,

      都在成就未來(lái)。

      G6將π Day做成了π Week。著重培養(yǎng)孩子們的融合創(chuàng)新能力,學(xué)生每天都能在π day Special發(fā)現(xiàn)到新的邏輯思維題。起初孩子們對(duì)于英數(shù)的拓展題不太敢輕易嘗試,但是后來(lái)通過(guò)慢慢的摸索,第二天、第三天就有越來(lái)越多的孩子愿意去嘗試,蜂擁而至的找老師講解題目,最后甚至非常意外的獲得了獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。我們希望通過(guò)不斷地引導(dǎo)、鼓勵(lì),讓孩子們不僅僅在課堂上對(duì)數(shù)學(xué)保持熱情,而是在生活中,認(rèn)真對(duì)待每一件小事,都會(huì)感受到生活給我們帶來(lái)的驚喜!成為一位全面發(fā)展的學(xué)習(xí)者!

      另外,數(shù)學(xué)單詞競(jìng)賽也是六年級(jí)π day活動(dòng)的第二個(gè)重頭戲。學(xué)生如火如荼地享受π day的活動(dòng),并通過(guò)兩項(xiàng)活動(dòng)的累積積分,激烈角逐出一,二,三等獎(jiǎng)。

      3月14日,ASJ小學(xué)部舉行了π Day頒獎(jiǎng)典禮,為在活動(dòng)中展現(xiàn)出思考能力、拼搏能力和堅(jiān)持的學(xué)子頒獎(jiǎng)。

      在頒獎(jiǎng)儀式開(kāi)始前,老師們準(zhǔn)備了幾道數(shù)學(xué)搶答題,G1-G6的孩子都十分踴躍參加。思考,不分年齡,永不停歇。ASJ小學(xué)部學(xué)子在搶答游戲中,也可以發(fā)現(xiàn)自己在思考中的不足之處,日后加以注意,成為更加全面思考的人。

      The first level is to memorize pi, after understanding the infinite non-cyclic decimal of π, we encourage children to memorize the value of pi in different ways to improve their sensitivity to numbers.

      In the second game, "One Meter Stacking", children need to build three-dimensional shapes and make them close to one meter tall. In the competition, the children must not only build steadily, but also build "accurately", in addition to stabilizing the three-dimensional shape, they must also judge whether the height of the building has reached one meter.

      Finally, combined with the study of the chapter of addition and subtraction mixed operations, we launched the third level of the competition activity "Making 314".       "One Stop to the End"

      The G5 kids experienced a "one stop to the end" race. From the origin of knowing the π together, to the random grouping, group elimination, and finally ushered in the champion and runner-up group showdown. The children also learned how to make themselves better through the strength of the team.

      While understanding the origin of Π, take careful notes.

      In the group knockout round and the peak four finals, the teachers" faces were deeply impressed by the serious answers of the questions. Teammates worked together to solve different math problems, and the team spirit was vividly displayed.

      Turn π Day Into π Week

      G6 kids turned π day into π week. Students can discover new logical thinking problems in the π day corner every day. As soon as class starts, children rush out of the classroom and gather in the math corner, either to understand or discuss enthusiastically. After figuring out the answer, I can"t wait to rush in the direction of the office as soon as possible and present the fresh results to the teacher to obtain a point "badge" that highlights the honor.

      In addition, the Math Word Contest is the second highlight of the Grade 6 π Day activity. Students are in full swing to enjoy the activities of π day, and through the accumulation of points in the two activities, fiercely compete for the first, second and third prizes.
