“重學術”“個性化”是深國預19年來的辦學積淀，早已融進深國預的血液里，鑄成了一道精神坐標。隨著深國預·思楷生命科學研究中心的成立，深國預的科創教育被推上了新的高度，學術氛圍也愈發濃厚。學校開展了一系列學術活動，比如生命科學講座、DNA手環制作等。

"Emphasis on academics" and "individualization" are the essence of SIFC"s 19-year school-running, which has long been integrated into the core of SIFC, forming a spiritual coordinate. With the establishment of SIFC & SubCat Life Science Research Center, SIFC"s innovative education has been pushed to a new level, and the academic atmosphere has become stronger. Life Science Lecture

“我們現在投資兩個項目，煤電廠的投資收益是6%，光伏電站的投資收益只有4%，你會做哪種投資？”

“我們手上有20萬，可以選擇買一輛電動汽車，或者買同檔次的油車，你會怎么選擇？”

上周，帶著這兩個問題，清華大學物理學及經濟學雙學士、香港科技大學環境經濟學博士Rafeal Lau教授為深國預同學們開展了生命科學專題講座。他引導同學們在不同的背景和語境下對相同問題進行反復地思考。隨著跨學科知識儲備的增加、學術視野的開闊，學生對于這兩個問題的答案始終在變化。

長期從事低碳社區能源與大灣區環境發展研究工作的劉教授，以“氣候變化風險帶來的挑戰及應對措施”為切入點，調動政治、地理、商業等跨學科理論知識，進行生動形象的互動展示，極大程度上激發了同學們對生命科學的濃厚興趣和豐富的想象。

講座的最后，當同學們重新回答開頭問題的時候，他們的思維已經由商業與利益導向轉為可持續發展導向。

“如果同學們沒有對氣候變化具備正確的了解和認知，他們所做的選擇往往是從自身利益和權益出發，忽略經濟發展對于環境所造成的破壞。” Rafeal Lau教授如是說。

他們在經歷思維碰撞后達成共識——緩解氣候變化，需要政府、企業及個人三方的共同努力，才能有效地為未來人類的可持續發展形成積極的推進作用。這一天是意義非凡的，伴隨著交叉學科的拓展，邏輯思維的訓練、深邃思想的交流與融合，生命科學的非凡魅力植根在每位同學的心中。

體驗基因手環制作

猶如置身Class A級實驗室，所見之處是各種各樣擺放整齊的實驗器材和裝置，傳來一陣陣老師和同學們熱切討論的聲音。

同學們正在開展題為“基因手環制作”的體驗式學習，在老師的指導下，完成DNA提取等分子試驗操作的主要環節，對生命科學實驗安全規范，常見的分子生物學實驗儀器和操作流程均有了親歷與了解。

大多數學生是動覺學習者，這是他們的天性，他們喜歡在學習的過程中能夠移動、觸碰一些東西或者親自參與動手制作。這些動手參與的活動將知識性與娛樂性結合起來，寓教于樂，讓學生們在了解科學與技術的同時啟迪思維，探索自己的獨特閃光點。

早在1938年，杜威發表的《經驗與教育》中，他就曾總結當時已進行20余年的進步主義教育實踐，提出告誡：“新教育的道路并不是一條比老路容易走的道路，相反，新教育的道路是一條更艱辛和更困難的道路。新教育的未來最大的危險是由于人們認為新教育是一條容易走的道路。” 喚醒每個學生的科創潛能，探索與創新相結合的國際教育，正是深國預孜孜不倦地尋求的順應時代發展的、助力學生發展成“全人”的個性化教育機制。

“世界上沒有相同的兩片葉子”，更沒有相同的孩子。深國預希望這里的每一個孩子都能找到自己的優勢，在人工智能時代站穩腳跟。

"There are no two identical leaves in the world", let alone identical children. SIFC hopes that every child here can find their own advantages and gain a firm foothold in the era of artificial intelligence.

隨著ChatGPT為首的人工智能技術的出現，“記憶力好”等傳統教育賦予學生的優勢已經變得越來越不突出。創造力、想象力是人類特有的能力，可以幫助人類構想出全新的事物與場景，幫助人類產出新的發明。這是我們希望借著“生命科學”等前沿學科，讓學生明白的道理。只有我們不斷學習，掌握跨學科融合思維、提高解決問題的能力、發揮想象與創造、關注人類與世界的命運，才能形成獨一無二的賴以生存的競爭力，積淀下不會被人工智能取代的能力。
