2023年生物與健康未來領袖挑戰（HOSA-Future Health Professionals，簡稱HOSA )階段比賽結果近日揭曉，廣州暨大港澳子弟學校（ASJ）學生在本次比賽中表現優異，12位學子成功晉級決賽，5位學子獲得全國銅獎，2位學子獲得地區銀獎，2位學子獲得地區銅獎。

HOSA自成立至今已有超過40年歷史，累計影響全球超過250萬名學生。HOSA競賽的知識面考察范圍很廣，例如化學考察了結構化學、化學計量學、熱力學、液體、固體、酸堿、PH值、水的解離度等。比賽所需知識也很靈活，不是簡單通過大量刷題可以拿到高分，對同學們的英文能力、學術知識、靈活運用知識的能力有一定要求。本次HOSA生物化學初級階段比賽采用線上的方式進行。

本次比賽，ASJ參賽學子以G9和G10為主。在2022年9月，中學部成立了競賽ECA課程，每周專門為學子輔導競賽相關知識。同時，建立競賽專項線上群組，老師在周末也會解答同學們的疑問。

▲無懼線上線下，培訓風雨不改

在2022年11月，由于疫情原因，競賽ECA課程改為線上進行。為了讓參賽學子能盡快適應線上競賽，老師們準備了大量線上輔導資料，結合考綱和真題，貼合競賽內容為學子講解和培訓。

12位學子同時晉級決賽，是一個值得驕傲的成績。但在高中生物指導教師詹文通老師、初中生物指導老師劉曉鳳老師、初高中化學指導老師周鋼老師看來，這也是同學們努力的成果。

“在備賽過程中，同學們的自我管理能力很高。比賽內容包含了很多新的知識點，同學們不是都能一次性吸收和理解。遇到這種情況，有不少同學同學會反復觀看網課視頻，總結知識點，勤加練習，最終達到完全吸收知識。”

我參加的是HOSA化學競賽，因為我本身對化學也有一定興趣，大學的專業想選擇化石墨烯電池、新能源等方面，所以報名了此次競賽。

HOSA競賽考察的知識面非常廣，好多題目都是以前沒有見過的。但是在短時間內逼迫自己學習大量的知識，也是一個享受的過程。比賽中，面臨最大困難是純英文的競賽題目。剛開始，在理解題意上會有一些挑戰。在備賽過程中，我堅持多練習，熟悉題目。課余時間也會多查看純英文的教材，加強英文的感知能力。

參加HOSA比賽，讓我看到了自己在學習中的不足和進步之處。在我看來，生物是一個全球性學科，在比賽中我也更真切地感受到了生物學的魅力。

全英的考題對我來說，是比賽中遇到最大的困難。備戰過程中，經常會遇到讀不懂的題目。培訓時，老師根據HOSA官方的推薦，給我們準備了HOSA官方的單詞表、教材等材料。我通過反復背誦單詞表，增加了競賽相關的詞匯量，最終取得不錯的成績。

HOSA的比賽中，不少內容都超出了課本知識，備戰過程中經常會碰到不理解的題目，對我來說很有挑戰性。

深入學習，是我在備戰中最大的收獲。由于很多知識點都沒有接觸過，通過老師提供的教材和課程輔導，我嘗試在每一個不懂的知識點當中舉一反三，不斷加強對知識點的記憶。

在碰到不理解的知識時，除了看教材，我也會多問指導老師，老師非常耐心，不但會講解該題目，還會延伸知識點，培養我們的發散性思維。

HOSA比賽的內容對于剛接觸化學的我來說，還是比較困難的，因此很感謝老師的推薦和支持，讓我以競賽的方式快速進入化學的世界。

比賽中會涉及多方面的化學知識，對于我們G9的同學來說，是一次挑戰。老師的輔導給了我們不少信心，每一次輔導，都會讓我們離晉級更進一步。同時，通過反復閱讀推薦材料，不僅能提高競賽成績，我的化學知識面也得到快速加強。

In this competition, ASJ students are mainly G9 and G10. In September 2022, the Secondary School established the Competition ECA Course, which is dedicated to students every week to tutor students about the competition. At the same time, a special online group for the competition was established, and the teacher would also answer students" questions on weekends.

In November 2022, the ECA course of the competition was changed to online, and teachers prepared a large number of online tutoring materials, combined with the syllabus and real questions, to explain and train students in line with the content of the competition.

The fact that 12 students advanced to the finals at the same time is a proud achievement. But in the view of the instructors, this is also the result of the students" hard work.

The content of the competition contains a lot of new knowledge points, and students cannot absorb and understand them at once. In this case, many students will practice diligently, and finally achieve complete absorption of knowledge. ”

The HOSA competition examines a wide range of knowledge, and many topics have not been seen before. But forcing yourself to learn a lot of knowledge in a short period of time is also a process of enjoyment. In the competition, the biggest difficulty was the competition topic in English. In the beginning, there will be some challenges in understanding the meaning. In the process of preparing for the competition, I insisted on practicing more and familiarizing myself with the topics. In my spare time, I will also check more textbooks in pure English to strengthen my English perception ability.

Participating in the HOSA competition allowed me to see my shortcomings and progress in my studies. In my opinion, biology is a global discipline, and I really felt the charm of biology in the competition.

In-depth learning is my biggest gain in preparing for the war. Since I have not been exposed to many knowledge points, through the teaching materials and course guidance provided by the teacher, I try to draw inferences from each knowledge point I don"t understand, and constantly strengthen my memory of knowledge points.

When encountering knowledge that I don"t understand, in addition to reading the textbook, I will also ask the instructor more, the teacher is very patient, not only will explain the topic, but also extend the knowledge points and cultivate our divergent thinking.

The competition will involve a variety of chemistry knowledge, which is a challenge for our G9 students. The teacher"s tutoring has given us a lot of confidence, and every tutoring will bring us one step closer to the promotion. At the same time, by repeatedly reading the recommended materials, not only can I improve my competition performance, but my chemistry knowledge has also been rapidly strengthened.

入學考試安排：

招生對象：

1. 香港、澳門籍適齡學生：持有香港或澳門永久性（非永久性）居民身份證、《港澳居民來往內地通行證》或《港澳居民居住證》；

2. 臺灣籍適齡學生：持有在臺灣居住的有效身份證明、《臺灣居民來往大陸通行證》或《臺灣居民居住證》。

3. 外籍適齡學生：持有外國護照或永久居留權證明（綠卡）。
