The IB Diploma Programme (DP) at UISZ is a two-year post-16 programme of study considered excellent preparation for university and vocational pursuits worldwide. It is an academically challenging programme and internationally recognised for its ability to help prepare students to succeed at university.

Diploma students at UISZ study six subject groups, including Studies in language and literature, Language acquisition, Individuals and societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and The arts. At UISZ, our DP programme is a student-centred approach, emphasising the importance of connectedness and concurrency of learning. It supports our students in linking their knowledge to our local and global contexts.

Students achieve a considerable depth of study within the broad curriculum we offer, with subjects being studied concurrently to produce a well- rounded learner. This programme runs alongside the Diploma programme subjects as one of the core components and aims to helps students apply their knowledge to more comprehensive global settings.

We provide volunteer and charity work opportunities, local and overseas experiential experiences and annually host our highly recognised Model United Nations Programme (MUN).International schools from all over the Asia Pacific attend this conference to debate, discuss, and solve local and global issues.

Integrating the CAS programme with events such as MUN shows that UISZ students can contribute positively to our community and our world. Students can apply, practice and develop their skills through this student-led action.

The boarding option also gives our students the edge with strict study schedules, teacher supervision and evening classes in specialist subjects. Indeed, the individual attention that each IB Diploma student receives both academically and pastorally sets our Diploma programme apart from other schools.
